학부대학

박경리의 중단편 소설 연구로 석사학위를 받았으며, 박경리의 대하소설 '토지' 연구로 박사학위를 받았다.  중단편 소설에 나타난 죽음 모티프에 대하여 석사과정 동안 공부하였으며, 대하소설에 나타난 생명사상에 대하여 박사과정 동안 공부하였다. 한국연구재단 지원을 받아 박경리의 '토지' 연구 관련 프로젝트를 진행하였고, 만화 '토지'를 각색하기도 하였다. 시민을 위한 강좌 프로그램에 참여하여 박경리의 작품에 대한 대중강연을 진행하기도 한다. 창의성 및 글쓰기 역량 향상 관련 교재를 여러 차례 공저로 출간하였고, 박경리 관련 연구 업적을 묶어 책을 펴내기도 하였다.   

I earned my master's degree for the study of short stories written by Park Kyong-ni, and my doctoral degree for the study of Park Kyong-ni's full-length novel Land(Toji). When I received my master's degree, I studied death in Park's short stories, and when I received my doctorate, I studied ideas related to life in long novels. With the support of the Korea Research Foundation, I worked on projects related to Land(Toji) and even adapted the cartoon Land(Toji). I participated in lecture programs for citizens and gave public lectures on Park Kyong-ni's work. I also published several textbooks on improving creativity and writing skills as a co-author, and I published books on Park Kyong-ni's research achievements.

가톨릭대학교 학부대학 소속 교수이며, 주로 문학작품이 인간의 내적 성장에 미치는 영향에 대해 관심을 두고 있다. 
연세대학교 중어중문학과에서 고전시가 전공으로 수학하며 「唐宋 禪詩의 心象 活用에 관한 연구」로 박사학위를 수여하였고, 중국사회과학원(中国社会科学院, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences) 문학연구소에서 방문학자를 지내며 문예학/미학 분야로 연구의 지평을 확장하였다.
고려대장경연구소 및 가톨릭대학교 글로벌인문경영연구소에서 융복합 연구 과제를 수행한 바 있으며, 한국중어중문학회, 한국교양교육학회, 한국수사학회, 대한중국학회, 한국동아시아과학철학회, 한국중국문학이론학회의 임원진으로 활동해 오고 있다.
주요 저서 및 논문으로는 『위대한 수사학 고전들』(공저),『글로벌 문화와 인문경영』(공저),『글로벌 평화와 인문경영철학』(공저),「고통과 극복의 시적 체현」, 「한중 선시 속 불이 관념과 갈등 해소를 위한 제언」, 「선종 문예 심미와 인성 교육에 관한 소고」 등이 있다.

Shin Eui-sun:
She is a professor in the College of General Education at the Catholic University of Korea. Her main interests are in the impact of literary works on human internal growth. She majored in classical poetry at Yonsei University’s Department of Chinese Language and Literature and received her doctorate in “A Study on the Use of Mental Images of the Tang and Song Zen Poetry.” She expanded her research horizons as a visiting scholar in literary science and aesthetics at the Institute of Literature, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.
She has participated in interdisciplinary research projects at the Tripitaka Koreana Research Institute and the Global Humanities and Management Research Institute at Catholic University. Additionally, has been actively involved in various academic societies, including the Korean Association of Chinese Language and Literature, The Korean Society of Liberal Arts Education, the Rhetoric Society of Korea, the Korean Association for Chinese Studies etc.
Her notable publications and papers include “Great Rhetoric Classics” (co-author), “Poetic Embodiment of Sufferings and Restoration,” “The Non-Duality in Korean and Chinese Zen Poetry and Suggestions for Conflict Resolution”, “Study on Aesthetic Appreciation of Zen Literature and Moral Education” etc.
